When I still lived in Toronto, I didn't get down to Lake Shore Boulevard very often; even though I lived nearby, it was still a fairly long streetcar ride out to Mimico and New Toronto and Long Branch, the former lakeside communities that still retain a markedly different character than Etobicoke proper. Plenty of people do head down that way, though - and through proper use of the zoom lens, that sense of activity in New Toronto is only amplified.
