Photo: Everyone's Got Something to Say

We all have a need to express ourselves, some more powerfully than others. That's the main reason I maintain this weblog. For some, that's not enough--not nearly. I was on Granville Island the other day, and there I encountered this van that's absolutely covered with handwritten, capitalized screeds against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the New World Order, depleted uranium, and so on. It was a hell of a thing to see. I've never seen this rolling billboard anywhere else, so I don't know if it's a regular Granville Island fixture or what.

I find it funny how the canoe is completely unadorned, as well.
