PDP #187: Tall Tower, Bright Sun

Scotia Plaza, housing the corporate headquarters of the Bank of Nova Scotia, tends to stand out from the rest of Toronto's skyline. Whereas First Canadian Place, the Bay-Adelaide Centre, and the towers of the Toronto-Dominion Centre follow similar architectural playbooks, Scotia Plaza goes in a different direction to the extent that there aren't very many buildings out there that resemble it. Not all skyscrapers are created equally. Along with New City Hall, I think this is one of those buildings that would be well at home in the City of the Future.
