Photo: Waterfront Mist

Last night, a thick head of fog shimmered into being over the Fraser River and washed over downtown New Westminster. At first it was confined to the immediate waterfront, but as time went on it rolled slowly inland, cloaking Columbia Street and creeping north. I took this photo early in the night, looking toward the waterfront's elevated Inn on the Quay from behind River Market. That bust down in the bottom left is of Simon Fraser and his truly monumental muttonchops.
