Photo: Captain America's Marathon

A couple of nights ago, downtown Portland was cordoned off and lined with tens of thousands of people for the annual Starlight Parade, but before the floats could make their way through the runners in the Starlight Run had to pass by first. A five-kilometer fun run, it's characterized by the costumes many of the contestants wear as they hoof it to the finish line; costumes like Snow White, an anthropomorphic piece of bread with a yellow cape, or Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem.

There were a couple of people dressed as Captain America (Captain Americas? Captains America?) as well. A short-sleeved Batman was not too far behind this one.
