You've seen them before, in some movie or news hour or NASA broadcast - the massive crawler-transporters at Kennedy Space Center, originally built to move Apollo Program rockets from one spot to another at a staggering ONE mile per hour, and the Vehicle Assembly Building where the rockets were assembled and, later, where the shuttles had their tanks and boosters attached. This shot was taken in February 2005, during the long gap in launches that followed the destruction of Columbia.
